Controller

The short version

This is a static website. It sets no cookies, embeds nothing from third parties, and loads no external fonts, maps, videos or scripts. Every file, fonts included, is served from the same server as the page itself. The only connection to another address is the one to our own analytics, described below. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

The light/dark toggle stores your choice in your browser's local storage (localStorage), so it holds on the next page. This is not a cookie — nothing is sent to a server, and the value never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser's developer tools.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Requesting a page processes the connection data that serving it requires: IP address, time, the address requested, status code, volume transferred, and the identifier your browser sends.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is running the site securely and reliably. Processing may take place in the United States, for which Cloudflare relies on Standard Contractual Clauses.

Analytics

Umami is used for analytics, running on our own infrastructure at stats.streamline-your-business.com. It works without cookies, without cross-device recognition and without building profiles. Only aggregate information is recorded — the page requested, an approximate region, device type and referring page. IP addresses are not stored. Individual visitors cannot be identified.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is understanding which content gets read.

Contacting us by email

There is no contact form on this site. If you send an email, what you write is processed in order to answer it, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal email to the address above is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority here is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
